6.    (C)  TASK OF OPERATION TF 1-11):   The task operation changed repeatedly during this reporting period due to the necessity of detaching infantry companies OPCON to the mechanized battalion (TF 1-61) and armor battalion (TF 1-77) of the brigade, but basically the task organization consisted of four (4) rifle companies. There were periods where a tank company, cavalry troop and a mechanized scout platoon were placed OPCON to TF 1-11 for specific missions within the battalion’s area of operation. This after action report is prepared in five (5) phases described as follows:

     Phase II: 101200H February 1970 to 291000H March 1970.

     Phase III: 291000H March 1970 to 180800 June 1970.

     Phase IV: 180800H June 1970 to 090800H July 1970.

     Phase V: 090800H July to 182400H July 1970.

The following task organizations are the initial organization developed for each phase. This organization changed repeatedly during each phase.
